Jailbreaking the PS4

Sony Playstation 4 owners will be pleased to hear that a custom firmware may soon be made available to anyone with the 4.50 beta firmware. A team at PSXHAX are publicly requesting testers for the PS4 hack. As many jailbroken PS3 and modded PS2 users would recall, all the benefits of having the releases for those consoles topped with an extra degree of exploration makes any unlocked game console a entertainment system to be held in high regard.

Until then, only users on official PS4 firmware 1.76 have the ability to install CFW. Currently, any PS3 firmware can be downgraded/jailbroken, except for a select few newer models.
